You can now avail of HSBC’s new Secure Online Payment Service for performing online transactions. HSBC has launched Verified by VISA for your HSBC Visa credit card and MasterCard® SecureCode^TM for your HSBC MasterCard® credit card. It provides you with the extra security and peace of mind when you shop online with your HSBC credit card.

Password protection

• You create a password of your choice – the service is available for all HSBC credit cards.
• Use it like your ATM PIN (Personal Identification Number) – ensuring that only you can use your credit card online.

Additional protection with the personal message:

• You can create your own personal message – further protection of your secure password.
• You check your own personal message prior to entering your password – confirming that your transaction is authenticated by HSBC.

• Register your Secure Online Payment Service by creating your password and personal message.
• Shop online at participating merchants and pay with your personal HSBC credit card which you have registered for the Secure Online Payment Service.
• Verify that the authentication screen is genuine by checking the personal message is the one you have created at the time of registration.
• Enter your password to authenticate the transaction and complete your online purchase.

All you need is your user ID and password for Internet Banking.
