1. Your investment is protected with a guaranteed minimum interest rate of 5% per annum, applicable for the first 20 years of the policy at least.

2. Automatic increase of your Sum Insured by 5% per year to protect against the devaluation of the currency.

• Highly flexible choices that you can adjust to suit your financial plan:

  • Choose the Sum Insured: in order to be insured at the highest level with a reasonable premium.

  • Change the Sum Insured: to increase or decrease the Sum Insured as required.

  • Change Death Benefit: You can change the Death Benefit from Basic Level to Escalating Level and vice versa or request to change the increasing rate of the Sum Insured.

  • Change the Maturity Benefit: You can request to change the time that you receive the maturity payment according to your needs and your family's requirements.

• Flexible choices of premium payment

  • Choose or change your premium payment period: Dependent on your financial circumstances at any given time, You can choose to pay premiums over a period of 10 years, 15 years, 20 years; or until the age of 55, 60 or 65; or over the whole policy tenor.

  • Choose or change the premium payment frequency (choose to pay the premium annually, semi-annually, quarterly or monthly).

  • Change the regular premium (to increase or decrease the regular premium upon your financial circumstances).

  • Pay top-up premiums when your financial position becomes stronger. The total top-up premiums paid in a year may be five times your current annualized premium.

Family Endowment Universal Life Insurance is suitable for individuals:

  • The Policy covers any Vietnamese citizen or foreigner residing or working in Vietnam, aged six months to 85 years (inclusive)
  • Adult means persons aged between 17 to 85.
  • Children aged between 12 to 16 who are not travelling with their parents, may apply for coverage upon payment of the adult premium, but only child benefits shall apply.
  • Children aged 11 and below must be accompanied by and insured together with an Insured Adult.
• Place of departure: Must be trips originating from Vietnam only.

   Your Travel Care Insurance shall be valid subject to completion of the online application form, which is followed by a confirmation email from HSBC, and full payment of premium. Should you have request for Travel Care Insurance certificate (for visa purpose), please call the Travel Care Service Hotline on (84 8) 37 247 247 - quoting your reference number.

You may choose 01 (one) of the 03 (three) premium payment method options as follows:

1. Debit the premium from your account at HSBC
• If debiting from your account at HSBC is chosen as a premium payment method, you must maintain your account balance with at least equal the Travel Care premium fee that you have chosen so that we can deduct it from your account.

2. Make premium payment in cash at any HSBC counter

3. Funds transfer later from your account at other banks

• In all cases where payment of the premium is not made in due course, the registration for Travel Care will be deemed invalid.
