Credit Card Reward Points Donation

Giving back to the community is now even more rewarding, with HSBC Credit Card!

From now on, besides redeeming your HSBC Credit Card Rewards points for gifts or shopping vouchers, you can choose to donate them to local charities which help to support disadvantaged children in Vietnam. By redeeming your points for a cash donation, you can make a difference to the lives of children cared for by two organisations: Thien An Orphanage in Can Tho, home to 50 orphans; and Thuan An Centre in Binh Duong, which takes care of 280 hearing- and verbally-impaired children.

How it works?

For every 10,000 points donated, a VND30,000 cash donation will be given to the charity of your choice. There is no limit to the amount of points you can redeem to donate to charities, as long as it is up to your points balance.

You may choose to donate solely reward points or a combination of cash and reward points.

Visit “Charity” section of the Online Rewards Catalogue to view details of the charities and select the charity and donation option.

After you have put down the number of redeemption, you may redeem immediately with your HSBC internet banking access.

The total rewards points redeemed by Cardholders will be then consolidated on a quarterly basis, and be transferred into cash to send to the charities.
