Who can apply?
The insured people must be Vietnamese citizens or foreign nationals who are legally residing in Vietnam. Policy holders must be at least 18 years old.
For Bao Viet An Gia insurance specifically:
- Insured people must be from 15 days old to 60 years of age at the start of the insurance coverage (the age limit can be extended to 65 years if the policy is continuously renewed from age 60)
For Intercare insurance specifically:
- Insured people must be from 15 days old to 69 years of age at the start of insurance coverage (this age limit can be extended to 75 years if the policy is renewed continuously from age 69)
- The insured people must not leave Vietnam for a continuous period exceeding 180 days
