Who can apply?

To apply for an HSBC Visa Classic LiveFree Credit Card, you must meet all of the following criteria:

Be at least 21 years old;
Have a minimum monthly income of VND8 million transferred from a company account if you're a salaried Vietnamese citizen, or VND40 million if you're a self-employed Vietnamese citizen, a salaried foreigner, or a Vietnamese citizen and business owner;
Be working and residing in the following cities or provinces: Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Hung Yen, Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Hue, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, Can Tho, Dong Thap;
If you're a foreigner staying in Vietnam, your identification documents and residence proofs must be valid for at least 2 months from the time of card application.

You'll need to submit the following information to apply for this credit card:

A completed credit card application form
Identification documents for the primary cardholder and any supplementary cardholders
Current proof of address
Employment and income documents for the primary cardholder

Your overseas cash withdrawal limit is subject to State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) regulations

Generally, the credit limit at HSBC varies from the minimum of VND9 million and maximum of VND1 billion, depending on the time of customer’s application and card type.

We will review your credit limit from time to time and will adjust your credit limit if you are eligible.
