Per-transaction limit

The per-transaction limit via ‘Scan QR code’ feature and Instant Transfer NAPAS 247 to non-HSBC payees ranges from VND2,000 to VND499,999,999
Other transfer methods are not limited per transaction but limited by transaction day

To change your daily online transfer limits, you can:

Option 1: send your request through our secure messages in Online Banking by following these steps:

Find 'Secure messages' under 'Quick links'.
Select 'Send us a message'.
Choose 'PIB daily transaction limit revision' from the dropdown list.
Enter your detailed instructions in the message and select 'Send'.

Option 2: visit your nearest branch or transaction office

If you need further assistance, visit your nearest branch or transaction office or call our Contact Center for more information.

Notes:

Default daily limit is set by default when a customer opens an online banking profile.
Maximum daily limit: a customer can request to increase the daily transfer limit up to this amount.
This limit applies to the total of all online transactions with foreign currency conversions during the day.
Global Transfer is a service exclusively for Premier customers.

The HSBC Mobile Banking app is designed specifically for ease of use on mobile devices. Your phone's built-in features like touchscreens are used and information is properly formatted for a smaller screen.

iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch with iOS version 15 or above
Mobile handsets with Android OS version 11 or above
Android tablets with Android OS version 11 or above and a display screen size of 7" or larger

You can continue to use your current version of the HSBC Vietnam app until 17 September 2025. If you do not update your device's operating system to Android version 11 or iOS version 15 or above, you will no longer be able to use the HSBC Vietnam app.
